Replacement Ear Pads for Sony WH-1000XM3

My headphones were good as new EXCEPT the ear pads which I have heard many people complaining about. I've had them from new and look after them BUT like others report the black surface of the pads eventually breaks up and comes away. I bought these replacement pads from the Headset Hut and am delighted with them. They arrived promptly and were well packaged. I checked on YouTube for a video demonstrating how to swap them over. Please don't do what one video showed: Easing the old pads out with a metal knife!! Use a springy plastic picnic knife. This works and is much safer. Once fitted they fit perfectly and I cannot tall any difference in the audio quality. They look brand new again and I am very pleased. Thanks to The Headset Hut :-)

Pretty easy to fit but the "cooling gel pads" are quite ineffective and obviously not centered properly . Seem to be a loose gel ring under the fabric . Not great but not bad . Still comfy and a nice seal.

These are still my favourite noise cancelling headphones despite owning newer models. Look like new again and took me 5 minutes to rip off the old ones and clip these on.

Very good excellent fit. I had not realised how much the old ones had detiorated. The loss of sound escaping beyond old ear pads. Very easy to change as per the you tube video. Even the Post Office excelled themselves delivering a day earlier.

The surface-coating was flaking off the ear-pads of my 'phones after several years sterling service leaving black specks everywhere and looking awful. Since the 'phones still provide excellent sound quality, and being too mean to shell out over £300 for the latest offering, I bought these replacemen ear-pads. They come with new individually-shaped foam inner backing-pads to replace the old ones and they were easy to fit (particularly with the aid of a you-tube video). The 'phones now look as good as new and are as comfortable to wear as they were before. Excellent service, quality and value. Well pleased with my purchase

I put off installing the pads for a couple of weeks because I was worried it would be awkward. I eventually bit the bullet after watching a YouTube video...

Turns out it was super-easy. The old pads popped out with very little encouragement and the new ones were far simpler to pop in than I'd anticipated.

My headphones no longer leave little bits of black material on, around, or in my ears.

Only had these for about a week, but they're working well so far. Fit well into the headphones themselves.
Comfortable and with good noise cancelling effects. One of the few products I could find that had the foam that goes behind the padding and covers, which was something I needed.
